研究方向及科研成就
徐波教授主要研究方向为基因组稳定性、DNA损伤修复机制及人工智能在肿瘤诊疗中的应用,在权威杂志(《Nature》、《Cell》、《Molecular Cell》等)发表100余篇SCI文章,被引用超过11000次,6篇文章入选F1000推荐系列,12篇文章入选ESI高被引(top 1%),1篇热点文章(top 1‰),H指数44。 旅美期间(1998-2018)先后担任美国康奈尔大学医学院卫理公会医院教授,美国南方研究院肿瘤学系主任、美国阿拉巴马大学伯明翰分校病理学教授,美国国立癌症研究所 (NCI)化学生物学中心 (CBC)执行委员会委员,南方研究院CBC中心共同主任,美国放射学院放射肿瘤学住院医师执业医师考核委员美国国立卫生研究院科研基金评审委员,美国国防部乳腺癌研究项目课题评审委员等。作为课题负责人主持联邦课题8项,研究经费超过800万美元,包括2项R01,1项P20及其它NIH课题。
徐波教授团队系统研究DNA 损伤后细胞周期检查点的调控机制,阐明ATM、BRCA1、NBS1、SPOP、PDL1等蛋白在DNA损伤应答机制及有丝分裂中的功能;建立了一系列方法研究 DNA 损伤修复过程中蛋白质的相互作用及细胞周期检查点的信号转导通路;揭示了过度激活的DNA损伤修复与乳腺癌转移之间的关系;先后克隆出斑马鱼ATM及NBS1基因,为建立斑马鱼的肿瘤模型提供了重要基础;团队提出应用核苷类似物新药的联合治疗方案于2017年获得国际专利1项;2018年研发出国际首例多肽免疫检测点抑制剂。全职回国后先后完成极年轻乳腺癌基因组图谱、小细胞肺癌、贲门癌多组学研究,2022年完成有丝分裂期ATM激酶底物图谱并鉴定其与DNA损伤修复的交叉机制。徐波教授2019年在国际上首次提出智能肿瘤学概念,2019年当选为中国抗癌协会肿瘤人工智能专委会首任主任委员,建立了基于人工智能的乳腺癌快速病理分子诊断系统,该项工作在中央电视台《经济半小时》中得到专题报道,是建国70周年超级计算机应用的重要案例。2020年2月成功开发国际首例可用于辅助诊断新冠肺炎的AI+CT模型,相关文章于2021年入选ESI热点论文(1‰)。2022年徐波教授主编的《智能肿瘤学》荣获国家出版基金支持。
